I think I might just know why they left 6 buses within the 4X & 5X range as spares...

Let me guess... Depot transfer? For 171?

Looks like AMDEP still cannot decide whether to deploy OC500LEs on service 167 or not, or is just a trial only. Yesterday spotted SMB47B, today spotted TIB918K.
So which bus did SMB47B replace on service 171's side?

I do think what TTS mentioned the other time about advertisement contracts make sense. If I'm not wrong, the only perm bus without advertisement now is TIB 651 D, which has the ad removed recently. Don't talk about OC, I think even normal redeployments also difficult.
I noticed something interesting about 167.. Even most of the cameo buses are with advertisements.

I also think so.
If I am not mistaken service 167's perm fleets are still reflected as 619Z 908P 918K 920C 935K all these while, no OC500LE perm fleets as yet.
I don't think it is the case of the full body ad constraints for SMRT buses, unlike SBST's practice. If this is so then how to explain for service 851 which have gotten majority OC500LE perms though its former MB0405 and Lance permers still got ads when they were taken out.

SMRT has a history of not taking out advertisements when they had expired until new advertisements are put up. So there are chances that the advertisement contracts had expired and SMRT has not taken them down.

AMDEP OC500LEs unassigned yet are:-
SMB46D
SMB47B
SMB48Z
SMB49X
SMB50R
SMB51M
Whereas KJDEP OC500LEs:-
SMB66Z
SMB67T
Perhaps they will get assigned soon, don't know if these 2 depots will donate more MB0405 buses to WLDEP or not
. Feel that all the Nissan UDs should go off asap.

TIB651D still has ads, Marina Barrage back ads, unless you are talking about full body ads.

Thanks for the info. If that's the case, yes, I'm referring to the full body ad.

Todae last day for MAN on 17?
SBS180P SBS418E SBS430T SBS3820G SBS9156B SBS9187L
(SLBP 242
SLBP 241)
Remaining sv242 buses remain perm on sv242. me feels that 2 sv242 ADD should go to sv241 and replace 2 sv241 ASD and the 2 sv241 ASD replace the 2 sv242 ADD.
Crossovers as follows:
Early Morning 179 to 241: 4 buses (S/E shifts)
Early Morning 179 to 242: 4 buses (S shifts)
Morning Peak: 179 to 255: 2 buses (S shifts)
Late Morning: 255 to 179/179A: 2 buses (S shifts)
Evening Peak: 179 to 241: 2 buses (S shifts)
Evening Peak: 179 to 242: 1 bus (S shift)
Night: 255 to 242: 1 bus (P shift) - me feels this crossover should be given to 241 instead.
Tomorrow, many schedules to run Holiday1. Do note due to reductions in fleet, some perm buses will run around this whole week. Please do not assume they are spare, thank you so much. -.-
