Bus Observations (2009)

  This thread is for any observation you wish to share around.

  it can be almost naything from the BC beiing polite to you, to a new font on EDS to a new brand of Air-con being observed on the bus.

  Can be SBST or SMRTB or any private bus operator to even PBS (Premium Bus Services)

  That day i was taking SBS2822 on 93 when i observed that some blue fuzzy carpeting is left on bus. these are left over from the NTU advertisement days.

   that day i was taking SMB54 on 189 when i observed that the bus accleration is very good

  A WT L113CRB somehow changed its engine sound.........It goes by my house like every morning, and since like 1 week ago, the engine tune changed to a more coach-ey sound.

  uh dude a Scania L113CRB does in fact sounds like a Scaia Coach due to the fact that both engines would sound almost alike. its the same technology used you see..

  Here's an observation:-

  Is the same topic as above.

   

  The SJE Scania 3rd generation series (Could it be a L113?)  bus sounds and ZF gearbox shifts like a SMRTB Scania l113CRL.

  TIB921A , unique bus , staring sounds like normal lance when nearing 4 gear, changes to sbs merz 0405 sound and whirring sound comes in too , sound cool but still speedy!(:

  I observe that many of us are using the word "Furry" to refer to the ol carpeting material of the air-con area in Mark 3s and refer to the Lance air-con cover and also even the seats of SMRTB buses..

  Ive observed tht SMB41S' radiator have been fixed, no more 'krik-krik-krik' sound again.

  3rd gen is L113CRB, same engine as L113CRL, just that chassis is standard (citybus) floor instead of low floor. PH2669H of ComfortDelgro bus also the same. The SJE K270IBs sound similar to the SBST's/Hippo's K230UBs

  In case many of you didn't notice, there seems to be some KUB Window 'Sickness' going on in KJDEP for the OCs. A couple of OCs have new KUB Windows. I think it's due to complaints of the old window design.

  OCs 'infected'

  1. SMB1H ->retrofitted on 22/1
  2. SMB2E
  3. SMB5Y ->retrofitted on 25/1
  4. SMB42P

  you're blatantly using the wrong words to describe the wrong things. i wouldn't call that a sickness or infection.

  Please don't act literal and intentionally use the wrong words to convey wrong messages. Unless you tell me you haven't been taking up English classes. For goodness sake they're not SICK. Neither do they take Medical Certs.

  It didn't have any ad since 2006 except for the SMRT Give Way for Buses back ad.

  and the sticker is those gold-bordered stickers where you can get at Pasar Malam cheap cheap $1 per pack type

  Haha.maybe a small kid may have pasted it when it was about to take the bus.u can never know what small children will do when they are standing in a crowd beside the bus waiting to take the bus.or dont't tell me that the people at WLDEP tried this funny stunt by pasting the Kung Fu Panda sticker on the bus?
