some of them are quite random when playing the door closing announcements , a few stops closing door no sound no light, but after that got the "Doors are Closing" announcement and the light came on.

I rode SMB43L recently and found out that the door nvr play the announcements when both front and back is being closed at the same time. But it plays when the front door is not closing.
SMB112X got abit of the timing for the door closing anouncement and the timing for the door to close. Sometimes, it will close the door while the "door closing" anouncement is being played. Sometimes the "door closing" anouncement played first, then pause for 2sec then close door.
The First Bell to rang after leaving WRL did not sound out the "Ding Dong"

OCs tend to be like this. SMB27J exit doors never close for the first time, then closed at the second try, when doing 961 last time.
My observations:
SMB69M
> Left off-side of bus majorly scratched
SMB39A
> Left rear bumper about to fall off.
SMB66X
> 'Door Closing' red light not in correct postion; about to fall off
SMB67T
> Had this 'Tssss' sound when opening & closing the front doors
SMB69M & SMB72C
> With Batch 1's WAB type of seat cover
Sv 170 freq erratic today 03/09/09

actually i suspect btw the use of Exit button and Master button. might be due to the the circuit being linked to only the Exit button, and not the Master..
Scania observations
Just saw this on SBS8051B this afternoon on sv48[heading twds Buona Vista]...
On the Driver's console panel... notice the red button "Engine Fire" then 2 buttons to the left of this button which has a 0 on the top of the button and a odometer at the bottom of this button. This functions like a cruise control once it hurts 60km/h...
The BC press the bottom part of this button when he hit 60km/h, he then left his foot off the accelerator and rested on the floor panel while the bus speed stayed at 60km/h. When the bus went up the ramp[Fort Rd], it actually gain speed and change gear so as to be able to climb up the ramp while the BC did not step on the accelerator!
However when the bus is about to climb the ramp on Benjamin Sheares Bridge, it was not able to do this and the BC press the 0 and stepped on the accelerator 1st[not the brake] he regain control of the acceleration to bring the bus up the slope... simply Amazing!
Second observation: The driver cab has a soft light for his own use... Just look at the row[above the BC's head to the right] where the EDS buttons are
SBS987D(BNDEP 291) got a refurbished roof(red instead of blue) and A/C vents and the BC always drive quite fast at high revs.
Saw a MBO405 training bus(Belived to be SBS549K) that has 4 side view mirrors(2 on each side) leaving HGDEP.

I think about all SMRT buses got the side desto thingy, buses from every depots even OCs. The I also observe that most of them to put at the side are those on cameo.

SBS2796A is like the only sbst bus iinr that stills has the red/purple give way to buses sticker but the way it sticks, is like outside instead of inside?
MKIVs might be replacing MK IIIs for sv14... will confirm
