When did TIB920C have habit handrails?
Originally posted by bus555:When did TIB920C have habit handrails?
Do you mean those handrails on the front/back doors? If yes, than all of the AMDEP rigids have their handrails painted orange.
As for the design of the handrails, only some like TIB663U (WL 167/169**), TIB673R (WL 178) and TIB758E (WL 173) have those habit-like handrails on the doors.

Hmm, this system seems more sophisticated. But I wonder if it also includes SMRT services (i.e. 173). Saying this because the previous arrival time machines are somewhat company-biased. SMRT-based interchanges only show departure timings for SMRT services (eg. 161, 168, 39 and 85 don't have departure times shown at Woodlands and Yishun) and likewise for SBS Transit based interchanges like Clementi.

SMRT service 173 is not included. Note the "SBS Transit" on the top right hand corner of the screen.

1. The SL of SMB 95L on Svc 851 almost called the police when a man does not pay the bus fare as he had no change for smaller coins .He asked 2 passengers to see whether they had smaller change but they did not hve smaller changes so the SL forced him to alight at the next stop
2.HQ contacted the BC of SBS 8399Z on Svc 56 to find out why he was serverly late from his schelude. He replied in chinese saying that an SMRT bus broke down at the bus stop at Novena MRT (SMB 75U) and the traffic flow was heavy
yesterday, took 8233 on Sv 76. an off duty BC was sitting just behind the BC cabin. When the bus reach AMK Ave 4 (opp blk 163) bus stop, that off duty BC quickly go down the bus from the entrance. I was thinking whether he is getting off or what. then i saw him at the exit door, opening up the wheelchair ramp and helping a PIW get up the bus. the Sv76 BC just only realise that there is a PIW when he look at the rear mirror. by the time he got out of the BC cabin, that ramp have already been keep and the PIW safely in the Bus already. That off duty BC is really quick handed...
and on the same bus, i saw two teenagers (one of which seem to be a bus fan which photo might have appeared somewhere in this forum before, seem quite faimilar). Not sure who they are but then they are just standing the area between the two front wheel arch.. when there are plenty of seats behind. They choose to stand at that area blocking the way of boarding passengers. Just only shift their body little bit when passengers board and the passengers have to squeeze their way in. Really feel shameful of these two guys...

The trend now for SMRT Buses is to deploy more rigids during off peak. Many bendies now are just used for Split shifts or TQ shifts.

Which Euro 4 was this? 8255? The trial bus with extra stabilising poles to reduce vibrations in the offside grab poles?
