BTW: Noticed something else. Buses in China are RHD. The one in the picture is LHD. Unlikely to be photoshopped.
Weee, I'm quite confident it's true now. China wouldn't make LHD buses unless they are for export.
ZYX:
Post overtaken
ZYX: it is good that SMRTbusees have bought this bus.
For those who have never ever taken a China made bus before, this is your chance.
China made buses are typcially fitted with Cummins engine with ZF. So essentially they will offer a European style engine noises.
The Yu Tong is a wise choice by SMRTbuses. I have taken an Yu Tong coach in hong Kong before and i thorughly enjoyed the comfortable ride.I just wondering if the bus is 12 litre?!
FYI: there is a King Loong Citybus WAB running in Sentosa.

Put it in WLDEP!!!! (For selfish reasons - It dosent have any OCs. Don't shoot!)
Wonder why they covered the rear SMRT logo with pink paper but not the side SMRT logo...
demonstrator?

They consider those export....special administrative regions. You have to use a passport to enter those countries as a chinese citizen

I wouldn't worry too much lah, you need to have a certain level of standard with the buses to even enter Singapore...LTA wouldn't allow it if it was not safe.

The Yutong buses should be WAB buses
~ May just end up as the same fate as the OC.
Haven't peel...
Note to mods - stop locking topics. This creates more topics to eb created and cuases havoc in the forum.

I think with this news, there will be no more complains about SBST having too many KUBs, even if they were to order 600 more tomorrow... :P
Hey, on the bright side, their website looks "international", and the bus doesn't look that bad (and it's WAB).
Whether these MIC buses will crash and burn like the bendies in UK...we shall see when they're on the road.
Not constructive
Yes likely a demonstrator
Thanks
