SMRT Yutong bus - A discussion on China buses

Depature from Bedok at 1452, should be leaving Yishun soon.

I waited at the bus stop at around 12.45 for 6 buses until I sian, so finally I took a bus to Yishun, only to see it running on the opposite side of the road at Lentor Ave.
So, got the MRT to Bartley and changed to 93, hoping to catch it at Comfort Driving Ctr. Arrived at 3.15 and waited till 4. Guess I missed it again. -

SMB 135E now at YCK Rd towards Yishun. Departed Bedok just now arnd 1740hrs. diff frm estimation made by arnd 25 min.

Finally, the Yutong has reveal itself. I'm gonna take this bus, on saturday with a friend of mine, dinie_razin. Hopefully it's gonna do a revenue service, just like today. Thought of maybe meeting some bus fans if possible (: May have to see the timing first, as it's already fasting month.. ): So have to pick a suitable time that if we go home, going to break-fast soon. Hehe.

My suggestion is. IF the Yutong bus ply @ 854, board the bus from Yishun Int
to Bedok. From Bedok, go to Geylang Serai area there to break your fast.
Suitable time should be around 4pm-5pm.Selamat Berpuasa.

Not really better IMO. Out of 10 I'd probably give it a 6.5/7.0, mainly because of the irritating noise the doors produce when they open. Secondly I can feel the vibration from the bus as well as slight jerking already from Day 1 on revenue service. And not forgetting that if I compare it to the OC, the pickup and acceleration is much slower.If you have the chance to see the Yutong beside the OC, you'd probably be surprised at their height difference. (:

Anyway, for those who don't know, the ZK6126HGC we have uses a Yutong built body with probably Yutong made EDS, and Yutong AC, which means: Everything is Yutong brand XD.
I'm goign to upload a video of the Yutong along Lentor later after dinner, and a reflection of the rear EDS.

Haha, thanks guys. Probably whack the 1340 one from Yishun tomorrow but hope to be there at least half an hour early.

it's not confirmed it'll run 854 tml. Even if it does, it might run on another shift.

your timing totally screwed up.. Run time is 67min off peak, 80min peak, layover at bedok is only 5min.. but drivers like to reach Bedok early that's why u see 2 buses most of the time.. -
