If ever there are bus services from Buona Vista, Kent Ridge to Sembawang, Woodlands, passengers may opt for buses over trains.
äº¤é€šéƒ¨çš„ç›®æ ‡æ˜¯ï¼Œåˆ°äº†2015年,多达80%的公共交通乘客能在一个å°时内完æˆ车程,比现有71%的比例高。
Isn't it an easy target? At present, 71% of commuters are able to complete their journey within an hour, and they would like to raise it to 80% by 2015, OMG, with circle line and downtown line coming up by 2015, they still set such a low target?
Why don't we help them to set some more useful targets?
a. train frequencies for circle line to match that of E-W line.
b. zero downtown for train or bus breakdown.
c. increase train speed by 15% by 2015, say at present it takes 30 minutes to travel from Buona Vista to Lavendar, increase train speed such that by 2015, it takes only 25.5 minutes for the same journey.
d. first train to start from 0530h
e. last train to start from 0015h
f. train and bus fares will not be more than 15% of what it charged now by 2015.
g. introduce bus arrival time display panels to at least 1000 busstops bu 2015.
h. all commuters will be readily to give up their (any) seats to those who need more than them by 2015.
the list just go on...
i. and no stomp video takers by 2015.

Service 857: Direct connection from CBD to Yio Chu Kang/Yishun
yah, of coz, 985 and 857, but 857 jam together with CTE users loh... i wish they can extend 985 at the east side, after kallang area can go paya lebar/ubi there.... maybe better, subject to SMRT bus availability though
Because most bus routes don't involve going underground. People have phobia travelling underground.![]()
