some of the batch 1 do have jerky suspension. The OC500LE are better than the K230UB in terms of seating capacity, suspension, speed, air-con etc. Quite a number of SLBP are not in their best condition such as SBS2788Z (The last time I took it on Express 502, very noisy)

oh yah i remember got one xtryder on 159... fan belt very noisy. feels like the bus will explode :S

haven't yet. Shall go and try in the weekends. SBS8030L almost 1 month coma at SLBP.

SBS9529J. bad in almost everything. last time i took it, even the door closing sound was played when it wasn't supposed to.

here's one from my personal opinion
TIB 616G-bus itself is ok,but the engine+gearbox somehow sounds 'sick',might nid to go for service,shld be WLDEP 965.hope they r fixing the bus up now cos it has been MIA on my 965 for awhile

TIB1197S sucks. When it accelerates, its still ok, but when it slows down, its worst. The gearbox had something wrong, which keeps producing sounds like "kerr-ert" and "kng-kng" when slows down. It also pushes you forward when u here the sound.

OMG, 616G MIA? I took svc 965 for 3 times from Sengkang Int > Woodlands Int & the bus surely came out to be 616G, 3 times in a row lol.. Since u hope the engine & gearbox would be fixed up, for me, i hope they will change the seats to the new leather seats.. Btw, i tink this bus is from AMDEP. -

Pls la.. I dunno took hw many MK4 having the same problem. Provided those are perms. Why dun you say SBS 2784J is noisy because the gearbox sound too solid? -

No, im not a frequent commuter on 965 :) Previously last December, ive always liked to travel around SG to explore new places (as im onli 14 & ima noob lol) but then, my journey always goin to end at Sengkang. So i took 965 back home to WDL coz i live at CCK.
Its like deja-vu since each time i took this svc, 616G would always come lol -

This is the fact. Just because you like SLBP and the buses there are good. Well ,that's what YOU think. I myself also a supporter of SLBP, but SBS2788Z at that time the condition is the fact.Not happy ah, wad do u want??
