Title: That Day The Bus Stood Still
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4q0_XLncKVI
Check this out! Vid made by Hwa Chong Institution. I think the bus used for the scene is TIB1257C? ![]()
It's a UK Dennis Lance, not a UMW Dennis Lance. I think it's 1010Y

The seats on the bus don't look UK-ish.
UMW. UMW seats are this colour one.

you take 853 so many times yet you can't identify UMW or UK
looks like a PA plate Dennis Lance 211 to me

UK Lances all have PVC seats (just like the refurbished seats which the CAC/OAC O405s have) but UMW Lances have this furry seats & have windows tht could be opened.

Yeah. UMW window cannot open one lah.In fact all Lances under SMRT cannot be opened. Maybe take an example of PA648L. long long time not serving the Tampines Retail Pk Shuttle already, dunno if it smell sucks or not?
And take note that the SMRT logo-ed UMWs have standing areas.
Should be a PA UMW bus. Coz you see the BC stand already then the seat from the BC then right side come back the seat looking to the front only should have 2 rows, And the video one has 3 rows. I suspect that that bus is PA644Y. See the proof at 1.27 of the video.

Think so, look at the seats, pause at 0:27 of the vid, all have handrests at the side of the seats.. (or izzit like tht on evry UMW lances?)
UMW. Pause at 0.30. The material is the unique UMW one.

Um. UMW Lance's windows can be opened (hopper windows at the top). It's just that wether it's easy to open or not. Some like glued and some just flip open le.....and for obvious reasons why nobody want to open *cue stares from other passengers*
UK dennis lances are full glass windows.
Ok, this is where we seem to know that the bus is a mixture of both breeds of Lances. It features the Dennis Lance 211 (UMW) but it features UK Lance green colour panelling of the driver compartment. Wonder which Dennis Lance UMW is this?
& fyi, the girl who forgots to take her bag in the vid was wearing the new uniform of South View Primary Sch (my primary sch last 2 yrs!)
For this video, i had saw it during CE_TT lesson, it was damm hillarious, by one look i know it is a charter bus yet some of my classmates still wondering what nservice is it, location was most probably somewhere in bukit Merah and had you noticed the timesheet used by the so called SL, it look similar to those IKEA shuttle one, maybe just have not removed....
Not all of you are right, its a IKEA Shuttle bus and its PA4076K. I took the bus before, I know the interior quite well about that bus cos it did NP SHUTTLE before. At the entrance and exit, there were 2 pieces of cover(0.36) fixed near the doors. Plus, there is no standee area.
If you paused the video in between 1.12 and 1.13, your will see the last rego alphabet beside the SL head, which is "K".
Then, at about 0.41 to 0.43, you will be able to see the
"BUS STOPPING" in front, which is common for Volgren and UK Lance buses, but base on the bus interior, its a UMW Lance, and the only bus that uses the bus stopping is PA4076K.

Yah. I noticed the timesheet, and it says
"*** *LUS SERVICES PTE LTD", which could mean
"BUS PLUS SERVICES PTE LTD".
The video is creative... good effort... ![]()
