Hi, new here. Spotted a new MERC WAB with SBST livery along Pandan Loop on 260208 @ 1715hrs, would like to share with you all. Photo taken using my iphone as I dun have a camera inside my car, so pardon my pic.
For sharing, cheers!
Sorry, got problem loading pic, finally got it right. Again, pardon my shot as I was using my iphone to take this shot. Cheers!
Hey that the new bus i saw. I wonder when it will come out for service? Which deport? AMK or Soon Lee?
Also to add on, e rear looks almost exactly like SMRT OC. I believe this might be e new SBST demostrator. Note that e front EDS displayed No 12 with destination, but side EDS is e same small display as SMRT, with only bus number to display, unable to display destination.
BY e way, apologies if someone had already spotted and posted up here earlier. But anyone who wanna take a look at this bus may camp outside Cycle & Carriage at Pandan Loop.
Cheers.

Wow! That's cool! Gemilang bodyworks again? Wa.. looks like the MAN.
Haha. SBS8023.. wonder it would appear like that.
Goodness, is SBS 8030L still on service these days?
yes, finally a mercedes-benz bus for sbs transit..
It is good to see merc bus in SBS color again, SMRT version is very comfort compare to the Scania bus.
Isst similar to SMRT's OC500LE? In terms on engine sound?? Appearance a bit similar.
I hear it before it turn into the workshop, the strong sound of merc trade mark, very close to MAN bus.
this is insane.

Hi, saw it along Pandan Loop, so dunno which depot it will go to. Note that it was displaying number 12 when doing road test. No rego was attached, so will be expecting SBS8029 or SBS8032 to be registered if it's a demostrator.
Sound same as SMRT OC, so was wondering whether SBST also using e same engine. Rear looks similar as SMRT OC, didn't have time to take e rear shot as e bus was going quite fast.
Cheers.
NICE! Anyone knows the exact model of it? It should be a demo.. ?
it has proper windows for the driver too.

Later SMRT buys Scania K230UB to replace their current Scania L113CRL
Another Capacity front Gemilang bodyworked bus..haiz. Thought each bus co will have slightly different buses for each other.
That said, SBST's merc - Full capacity front lol.

Pandan Loop means the bus would be going for the C&C workshop probably to install some parts and register the bus as well.
Interested to know whether this bus is really an OC500 and whether it has the same specifications as our SMRT ones... (=
very likely to be OC500LE as the steering wheel is kinda huge just like our SMRT ones
this looks like a good news to SBS bus fans

SBS8023H is psv soon chow..
rego would be 8032. sbst doesnt have the habit of using untouched regos that have passed.

Should be the same model bah, OC500LE. The Front is the same except the Merc badge is smaller, got more black colour background and the outline of the headlamp is the same except that they changed it to , like B9TLs design.
Quite cool. Hope that this means another 399 new Euro 5 buses.
