  I really hope SBST have success with this demonstrator.  The Mercedes-Benz OC 500 LE, despite having a larger capacity engine with a higher power/torque rating uses 10L/100km less fuel than the Scania K230UB.  The Mercedes-Benz engine, using SCR technology, also has a lower thermal output compared to the Scania engine.

  unless they put them on services which constantly see hilly terrain.. i dont think sbst will get one.

  Right now SBS got almost 4 type of new single-deck WAB Buses

  1) Scania K230 UB (Gemilang)

  2) Volvo B7RLE (Soon Chow)

  3) MAN 18.240 HOCL-NL (Gemilang)

  4) Mercedes-Benz OC500LE (Gemilang)

  SMRT only 2 type right at the moment..

  1) Mercedes-Benz OC500LE (Gemilang)

  2) Yutong ZK6126

  Your logic is simply not there.

  That bus is still a property of Cycle & Carriage (Singapore). Even the trade plate isnt sbst's 4362S.

  Woah, what could i say.

   

  This new demo really is one eye to look out for, especially if it's going to be deployed to a Sv that would be competing with SMRT OCs. Would make a nice picture!
