my b'day la.. LOL.. hahahaha
so the merc lives on.
I really hope SBST have success with this demonstrator. The Mercedes-Benz OC 500 LE, despite having a larger capacity engine with a higher power/torque rating uses 10L/100km less fuel than the Scania K230UB. The Mercedes-Benz engine, using SCR technology, also has a lower thermal output compared to the Scania engine.

Dave
and by now, volvo should start sending in B12BLE's ![]()

but given the price.. and the lousy fuel economy..
unless they put them on services which constantly see hilly terrain.. i dont think sbst will get one.

a welcome deviation from the standard LED's.. which get oh-so-boring at times.
Right now SBS got almost 4 type of new single-deck WAB Buses
1) Scania K230 UB (Gemilang)
2) Volvo B7RLE (Soon Chow)
3) MAN 18.240 HOCL-NL (Gemilang)
4) Mercedes-Benz OC500LE (Gemilang)
SMRT only 2 type right at the moment..
1) Mercedes-Benz OC500LE (Gemilang)
2) Yutong ZK6126

10-litre cannot climb meh?
Originally posted by SBS n SMRT:maybe testing whether a bus can refuel at emergency situations
Your logic is simply not there.
That bus is still a property of Cycle & Carriage (Singapore). Even the trade plate isnt sbst's 4362S.

10 liter can
just that the 12 liter climbs better. ![]()

Woah, what could i say.
This new demo really is one eye to look out for, especially if it's going to be deployed to a Sv that would be competing with SMRT OCs. Would make a nice picture!

Cool. The rear really reminds me of the MB Travego I saw in Turkey.
