Sv 247 to Jurong Pier & Jurong Port integrated into 98 from Lakeside MRT instead
248 to Soon Lee Rd/ Nethyal Rd, integrated into 250 and eventually into 252
Oic...

I wonder what will happen to amended svc 242... looks like less demand
My feeling is some residents are not happy with this change
last time, i live in st 81... always take 242 w/o fail to BNL
Complaint :
never connect to Pioneer Stn,
always crowded,
take long time to reach BNL Int,
always bunching/caught in jam,
same route as Service 99
Rd not serve by basic service
Solution :
has a shorter travel time to BNL Int/Pioneer Stn
provide a direct and convenient connection to Pioneer Stn
a faster route to the BNL Int
does anyone have a pic of the old service 241?

which version? Jurong Int - Teban Gardens or Jurong East Int - Teban Gardens?

Yup, for every single passenger boarding Service 242. The 241 berth is up using a blank and white laminated paper. Really a great effort from SBS Transit this time round.
Just to add on.. Just now is really funny that every single passenger are given the brouche and you see everyone reading it onboard.

No, all were single decks. But it had LO2x after it was renumbered service 331.

Service 193 can stay in Boon Lay. Service 182 should be cutback to Joo Koon considered it is a long loop service.
hanor
everytime I see Sv 99 near Jurong East MRT Station, it's always 2 together before a long time another Sv 99 comes
Maybe can put 241/99 x-over during AM peak to decrease frequency.

241 only 6-bus fleet lei... how to do crossover during AM peak when there will be alot of people at JW St 9X?
It'll be good if they can draw some buses from Clementi to supplement 99.

Okay, 241 can rely on 179/241 x-over (T-day) 2 supplement commuters. So, 2 of 241 buses can do x-over to 99 during AM peak. Jus lik 243/198 x-over. Tiz can benefit both buses. And ppl won't wait 4 99 veri long. These 241/99 x-over buses may start the downroute trip from Jurong West Street 91 to Clementi Int for 1 trip as JW St 31 are densed.
Initially I thought that 241 will follow 257's route until Pioneer MRT (St 62, St 61 & St 63) since 257 is very likely to be shortened to Joo Koon and there is already a 179 (and 255, in which it is also very likely to be shortened to Joo Koon ter) in the whole stretch of St 63.

The old feeder 241 was from the old Jurong Interchange to loop at Teban Gradens. Jurong interchange was closed in 1990 and the route was amended to terminate at Jurong East interchange. Feeder 241 was renumbered to 331 in 1999, after which the route was merged with service 143 and withdrawn in 2001.

you think cross can anyhow cross ah? Must see bus fleet as well as timing right? the 243/198 xover is based on fleet addition to 243 and not a conversion into a xover.
Furthermore, 99 runs at 6-8min during AM peak, what more do you want?
