took 241 just now w/a BC standby onboard, whole trip about 15mins.
At BNL Temp Int
- many 194 takers don't know 194 change berth, they see 194 bus then walk to new 194 berth
- many 242 takers don't know 242 amended, 241 Q almost empty
- green man giving out 241/242 leaflet & ask any 242 Q ppl going St 91/92
- BC ask everyone boarding 242 where they are going -

some ppl along Pioneer Rd Nth were surprised to see 241

Saw a few bus fan (cos one of them mentioned abt alan) taking SBS 9187L on svc 241 and talking at the rear of the bus.

are u talking abt the same font use on the crossover for Svc 198? If u r, svc 241 SD are using that kind of font for the desto. For DD, it is different. -

Based on observations made this morning (I was at BNL since 7.30am and was with ^tamago^ since 8.30am) that the 2 LOs keep on lambat and the other 2 merc keep on bunching with the LOs.
Situation improved only slightly when the 9T (SBS 0430T) bus started at 9.09am because before it came in the buses ran without minimal break time, so if they're late for the previous trip they would be late (or even later) for the next trip. This happened on the 2A bus (SBS 9156B) whereby it was pushed further and further behind it's original schedule.
The 1A (SBS 0180P) and 4A (SBS 9187L) drivers were consistent in their schedule-following.
Tomorrow is then the real test of the scheduled headway for Sv241... Sunday frequency is about 5-6 mins after 9T starts, 8-9 mins during morning mealbreak and 7 mins after morning mealbreak. But the average headway this morning was at the extreme ends, either 1-2 mins in between buses or 12-13 mins.

Yes, so sorry for being late 'cos I was bad to assume everyone would reach after 8pm and stole some more time for beauty sleep! All eyes of sv241 tomorrow!

today took the Sv 241 with Alan (Tamago) & Teng Swee (Oceane). 1st day of its launch of sv 241 alr lots of ppl taking it. Can see the BC quite tired cauze they had to continuous run for 3 rounds before they can rest, somemore they lambat. Luckly many bus fans today nvr come take sv 241 at 12.30 plus. Cauze someone spoilt the fun there.....zzzzzz
