Why is JE Bus Interchange covered walkway for bicyles?

Dear all, if Singapore wants to encourage a healthy lifestyle and wants its residents to take up cycling at the Jurong East area, why is there not a bicycle carpark, like in Tampines? why is the Jurong East Bus interchange covered walkway full of bicycles, shouldnt that be for pedestrians instead? In the morning, with the peak hours human Jam, the bicyles locked at this covered walkway blocks pple from walking and some bicycles look like do not have owners. probably their china-come-singapore-to-work foreign owners have already gone back to china, the bicycle basket is full of rubbish! how unsightly...

Outside the boon lay interchange lagi terok!! More unused bicycle (bike without wheel etc) locked also.. While at Lakeside Station better, even not more bike park at sheltered linkway, there's a bicycle park...

they should have regular clearing away of ALL bicycles at least once in 3mths or what. to be done overnight.
