  Service 402 Route Amendment

  Marina Centre Terminal - Marina South Pier / International Cruise Terminal (Loop)

  The amended route provides new connections to Marina Bay Sands Integrated Resort and the Marina Centre area, and access to new MRT stations in Esplanade and Promenade.

  Due to the new route amendment, the crossover from Service 130 will be removed.

  I thought there will be no new bus service being introduced in Singapore as reported in the recent news earlier? Only make amendments to current bus services if there's a need for modification?

  If there's not the case, actually I have quite a number of new bus services that the bus companies should consider to give more convenience to passengers.

  Some of my ideas:

  1)Sembawang bus interchange(In need to have more bus services otherwise, building it somehow defeats the purpose in my opinion)

  a)'991'-SMRT preferably(Sembawang to Bukit Batok)

  via Sembawang Drive, Way, Canberra Road, Sembawang Road, Upper Thomson Road, Lorine Road, Adam Road, Dunearn Road, Bukit Timah Road, Sungei Road...(Follow bus service 851 route till Tiong Bahru Road), then turn left to Jalan Bukit Merah, AYE, Clementi Road, Commonwealth Ave West, Boon Lay way, Toh Guan Road, Bukit Batok Ave 1 

  b)'992'-SMRT WAB preferably(Sembawang to Boon Lay)

  Woah... This bus should go through Ang Mo Kio instead. There are too much bus going from Woodlands, Bukit Panjang, Bukit Timah, Bukit Batok like SMRT buses 178, 180, 187 to Boon Lay. My planned SBS 71 bus can be considered still... Haha... Because there is no direct bus going from Boon Lay to Ang Mo Kio, Hougang, Sengkang, Tampines and Pasir Ris.

  I think upgrading 858 buses to Mercedes-Benz OC500LE ones is necessary. Or else there is no point for 858 to go through Yishun Polyclinic without having WAB buses for the convenience of Wheelchair-passengers to board the bus and to go to Yishun polyclinic. If not, why not let bus 811 to go through Yishun Polyclinic instead since it's a WAB bus?
