erm...this service some is covered by 136,62
But you might have mistaken. my route is to bishan , whereas svc 62 and 136 didn't ply.Check the routes of the two svc again before you reply.
And of course, the 136 route is different from the 84 i given. 84 didn't ply the bus stops outside kovan mrt, instead it ply at the former hougang south interchange where 136 don't ply to reduce duplications. As for 62, 84 didn't ply punggol field and the bus stops along upp serangoon rd plied by 62 isn't plied by 84. So there nothing wrong with 84 even if it duplicate a little with 136 and 62.

i don't think so. there are two pair of bus stops along amk ave 1 plied by the 84 i suggested, one pair is outside amk ind pk 1, where workers in bishan or serangoon who works there can have a shorter time. Also, there are four shopping ctr/mall beyond bishan town, where serangoon residents might enjoy to shop there in air-con buses comfort, and with the upcoming distance fares, they can hope on to 84 to bishan and transfer to svc 52.
maybe Bishan too short try make it to either like toa payoh or even sims place

Edd1, i think this route is quite good enough, but why don't you extend the coverage of b.b east ave 3 to ply b.b east ave 6, west ave 6, west ave 8 and west ave 3 before terminating at b.b int?

This service is used for catering residents from Tampines, Simei & Bedok to Orchard, Suntec City and Shenton Way. It is use to replace the lost link to Raffles Ave plied by Express 502 until April 2010 and the withdrawn CityShopper 576 & 579.
Note: This service ply Tampines Ave 4 & 5 towards Simei so as not to duplicate Express 518, Premium 552, 553 & 554.
Express 510M will also be introduced as a shorter service of 510. It will not ply the bus stop along the roads from Upp Changi Rd to Jln Eunos. It will operate during weekday peak hours only.
Express 510 will operate after peak hours on weekdays and full day on weekends and public holidays.
