  IMO, majority of the route is duplicating SV 59.
  But i do agree that it provide a faster link bet TPY/ BSH EST to the EAST. Perhaps and via SIMEI EST to improve the connectivity there.

  OK. Seriously I think the distance between Bishan / Toa Payoh and Tampines is extremely far though its very near by car.

  it is very near. i stay tampines.
  
  the govt want to promote public transport. they build circle line.
  
  at the same time, they also build the tamp ave 10/bartley viaduct.
  
  guess which one i take to bishan. 20mins only frm carpark off-peak.

  Do u know it takes 2 hours already during peak hour to take 187 from Boon Lay to Bukit Panjang already. That would be like 3 hours journey to Sembawang. Seriously, nobody would wanna take 187 all the way from Sembawang and Boon Lay. They rather take the MRT.

  I think it is better not to use Jln Buroh. Use West Coast Highway both sides before & after Pandan Loop.

  No...285 original loop will pass by Jln Buroh before going back to Clementi.So i will follow the original one and go to pandan cresent.

  To me, peak hour cushion svs does not need a proper terminating pt. So long as bus stop traffic is relatively lower.

  No need to be restricted to Bus Int, can start from neighbourhood
