My Review For SMRT's OC500LE
Good points:
> Exterior of bus:
> Interior of bus:
Bad points:
> Exterior of bus:
> Interior of bus:
Overall:
Equipped with ZF6HP592C, the bus could go very fast on a straight road! Legroom is sufficient & comfortable in all seating places except the seats behind the driver's seat.

Good points:
> Exterior of bus:
- Superbly design Citaro Capacity-like front
- A 'smile' shape at the back of bus
- Nice looking Konvekta A/C
- Cool third-braking light
> Interior of bus:
- Cold A/C (especially SMB59S)
- Black coloured seats designed for priority seats
Bad points:
> Exterior of bus:
- Looks better with silver rims than white rims...
- Small rear SMRT logo
- Rear of bus gets very dirty if not cleaned for months
> Interior of bus:
- A/C duct similar to Hispano Habit's (hard to configure)
- Seats behind driver is hard & can only occupy one person (depending on the size of the person)
- Lesser seats because of 2 PIW slots
- Seats before the steps are low & have to raise your head up to see outside the bus

The black and red colour seats is the mix of SMRT coporate colours, not piority seats.
My preference for the rims, i find the white pretty subtle and nice instead of shiny sliver.
The small rear SMRT logo is for vehicles pulling up close then they see it and...oo this is SMRT's bus ![]()
A/C duct follow Habit's one. no choice la, the interior configure like the Habit.
The seats behind the drivers seat, can't do much either. the CNG from SBS also have 1 seat above the right wheel.
I heard that there may be retrofitting to one PIW slot only, with seats occupying the front PIW slot.4 more seats i think.
Best part of OC500LE? super quiet and confortable. very little vibrations too.
so far my only ride for OCs are SMB12B on 75 & SMB20C on 851
SMB44J got no more SMRT logo at the back.
I think there will be more OCs without SMRT logo at the back.

Unofficial WAB...

For a fast ride I recommend SMB16R. A confident driver can take it 55 - 60km/h up the slip road from PIE towards Clementi Ave 6 with a tight turning of about 50 plus meters radius...

everything is dirty when u dont clean it for months ![]()
171 is shiok but sit for so long backside pain, and the bus usually cannot speed because of too many bus stops and traffic lights.
my fastest OC ride - S189 on a saturday abt 4+pm, 23mins frm BBT to KRT.

The picture on the window(side) looks like a Ad for the bus :D. More OC500LE should be place on Intra-Town Service and Feeder service.

SMB61J got no more SMRT logo at the back. If you look closely at the engine cover, its respray-painted SMRT livery.
SMB 48Z has rims that don't look milky-white.

Targetting WDL feeder/intra-town svcs rite?

WRI doesn't seems to be wheelchair friendly all the while, unless LTA builds a lift from the ground level to the interchange. That might be the main reason why WLDEP had no OC500LE intakes for WL services.

Nope..All the SMRT Feeder/intra-town svcs

I think is that they are preparing for the Air-con Interchange for the moment.

As far as I know, there are no plans for any air con interchange for Woodlands in the short term.
