Something i noticed...why SMRT starts to "refurbish" the OC500LE's exterior despite it being less then a year? Isn't it just cleaning up the exterior? hmm must wreck my brain le.

Maybe, but ive noticed that the wheels of the OCs were repainted absolutey-Colgate white, as what uve said just nw. -

For so many years since I know about buses, this is the first time I see a Singapore bus company take pride in their new buses. I don't really see this when SBS Transit introduced their B9TLs or when TIBS introduced the Habits and Volgren bendies.

Finally,i spotted SMB3C (AMDEP 67)with the black dengue full body ads today at Tam Int just now.
I was so stunned when i saw the bus with the ads first that i stood rooted to the spot i was standing for a few seconds.
The best thing is what i have been waiting to see for so long,i got to see that right infront of my eyes coincidentally today.

That means it might have its rims whitened (using colgate or darlie?) and looks much more cleaner. For example, it's back is famous for the black patches on the engine cover. Now, it looks cleaner. An instance, I just love SMB5Y. LOL! Look's cleaner now with the whiter backside. -

Stood rooted to the spot lah.I saw an OC with a full body ad for a first time.I was shocked what.
I mean when i said 'stood rooted to the spot',i just stared at the bus for a few seconds.Thats all.
If i remember correctly,it is the 'Don't turn a blind eye to dengue' version. -

sometimes, smrt can make their new buses look like old buses. just look at those black patches at the rear. -

SBS Transit really does lose out to SMRT as i was at the back of KUB and felt very hot till i adjust the air-con, but still abit warm...not like SMRT OC500LE -

The rear of the K230UB air circulation also not very good. Hot air rises, including the heat from the engine below. And the inner seats of the rear has not much headroom and a cramped window. Might feel claustrophobic. -

You must be really joking. Please do not post nonsense just because you like OCs.I hardly had comfortable air con rides in OCs, mostly due to the pathetic small air con ducts or weak winds. Out of 10 rides in an OC, mostly 2 are comfortable.
This is opposite as I've encounter in KUBs.
