  Is it true that the queue at tampines interchange that long??? why is it that the queue at Tampines interchange for service 969 will get worse during evening peak??

  Becoz the way Tampines Int is laid out, the queue only allows for one person to pass. Then there are those idiots who simply refuse to take a 969 that has no more available seats. People behind "idiot no.1" would not be able to go on the bus due to the nature of the queue. This leads to a chain reaction...

  most pple don't wish to stand throughout their journey so they wait for the next bus..
  this contributes to the long queues..

  iirc, there's an article that was posted over @ stomp with regards to this..
