Not bad, next time try not to have any ''blockages'' like the one in the rear.
It's good to see a change in location too! ![]()

The angle's pretty sweet. But contrary to Stage's opinion, the rear blockage is ok and it gives a dynamic feel to the bus that "hey i'm about to turn!" and leave the road.
Presenting....

Hope there is some improvements in the technical parts as well.
Ah yes, but as for a single bus, 8030L had the granny seats behind the front door as well. Maybe they thought good idea?

that explains it....

Probably SBST thinks that space should be given some seats if possible, since WAB bus and low floor buses have lesser seats.
Moreover seats behind the front doors are taken away because of the Transitlink farecard vandilators, and since 1993 when Volvo B10M MK3s came in, the space is reserved for the vandilators.
Until now without the use of vandilators, the space is open and why not might as well give more seats to the commuters???

I think vicamour has a point. The former farecard validators also take up space there.....

When the Volvo MK3s came in, the validators had already been equipped, but on the driver cabin side, Old red ticket machine was still been installed until they eventually replaced by TransitLink validators in 1996, thus making it 2 validators in one bus.
This makes the MK IIIs one of the old batches (with the O405s and Scanias and the retired MKIIs ) to have 3 generations of fare system in it.
1) Ticket machine
2) Transitlink validators
3) Ez-link

I thought it was on the front door side at first and the driver side retained the old red ticket vandilators...
I remembered that the new Transitlink ticket vandilators were installed behind the front door side on the Volvo B57s, Leyland Alanteans, Mercedes Benz OF1417s, and all of the TIBS Hinos and UDs.

Though there's no rule saying you cannot but you're strongly advised not to. :) Especially at PTB2 since the office is located there.
Mainly because of security reaons.
