not meant to discriminate or something. but do you realise a sharp increase in the number of PRC drivers especially on SMRT buses?
their service standard is on the average same as local ones if not better. whatever worries i had about them no adapting to RHD are gone.
but i came across one that day that opened the window to shout at a car that cut into the bus's lane, and whatever concerns i had about civilities came back.
hi, may i know if this bus goes to coronation?

does this bus go to coronation?

auntie lan lan, but still proceed to tap card and sit down

I only find them unusually slow although they had drove the same route at least more than 5 times that day ... ...
sad rite?

PRCs are not familiar with SG road names. i mean, like the area where i stay in, Bukit Batok, already split into different avenues in the East. BB East ave 3, 4 etc. If PRCs on 173 for example only know what is the exact route but may not know the name or the adjacent routes connecting it, so they'll take quite a long time to adjust de.

But in a way after driving the route about 5 times (esp. on a feeder) they should be somehow familiar where to go and should go slightly faster ... ...

For now, I will be contented with them driving the correct route safely, and be alert of any passengers alighting or boarding the bus.

nobody wants to drive buses nowadays.... not even malaysians. and singaporeans just keep wanting even more buses to run during peak hours.

Amusing when some actually ask you for advice on English phrases. Have encountered this once on 75.
