i dun know so let me guess... 138?
Anyway, i wish to share my experience onboard a Euro V on Svc 81. As usual i boarded the bus and sat at the front left granny seat. The BC just took over the bus, starting his PM shift. When he sat on his driver seat, he had the 'sian' look. Then he accidently activated the vipers and needed the help of another BC to de-activate it. Next, after every passenger have boarded, he closed the front door and started to panic.
He pressed the 'R' gear and stepped on the accelarator and the bus didn't move. And yet again, the same BC came forward to help, only to release that firstly, the handbrake wasn't at release position, and the back door wasn't closed. So he did the required things and the bus moved off.
For the entire journey, the max speed was 50kmph. End up at the end of KPE, the DD behind him caught up and went off. When he reached the interchange, he went to tap card and immediately picked up passengers. In the meantime, the euro V behind the BB arrived.

8573 on S3
8580/8586 on S10.
i must say the stuffiness is really irritating.. today was worse.. i alighted the bus with redness on my neck... and i was wearing a round-neck tshirt.. not even collared shirt or polo-t.
took 8566 today. the aircon is really zzz. only blew for a while after the doors were open due to increase in temp, then door close liao no more blowing. zzz.

yup.. took frm kent ridge to tamp int full.. many kept putting their hands at the outlets check if the air is on... it's really bad..
Of the 9 euro Vs I've taken, there are indeed some where the aircon is cmi.. but there are also a few that are good. After the doors are closed, the aircon automatically power up.

I think like that the euro 5 A/C vent would be clean.
should be like the euro 4 ma.. keep blasting, gd for a nap..
Could it be that the Euro V batch now introduce another bug of its own with the aircon system?
Defintely people will complain de. Now this period is very hot.

For me, the problem seems to be more significant when i'm sitting on granny seats or those priority seats as it is lower and especially for priority seats cos i ain't tall enough to adjust the aircon outlets ![]()

Must be a problem with the thermostat in the AC unit..
the aircon output for the last row is very small for the newest scanias.
