Yeah, manage to take SBS8875R to AMK today, opposite road was SBS8597T when reach SG Nth 4.
Was quite surprise that SBS8875R was driven by a PRC! But he really change my view on PRC drivers, journey was smooth and he maintained at 50-60km/h for the whole journey.
BTW, water was leaking from a small hole near the front door, my pants was wet by the dripping water when sitting on the left granny seat. Does this happen on other Euro V?
Cheers.

Its not paint. Its some sort of plastic which can be peeled off easily.

Nope, according to my E5 KUB 8585C ride on 81 yesterday.
AC was good. But was very stuffy.
ytd boarded 8875R on sv 73.. too hot
I think the rear row of seats directly above the engine is an oven. sweated on the back ,and the material of the seat cushion seems to retain heat. :X
Anyway rk and i saw this bus on 73 today. After picking up pax, BC couldn't move off, restarted the engine, engage handbrake, release handbrake, can't move off, turn off the engine again then restart the engine again. About 2-3 mins later he moved off. BC seems not familiar with the new variant. This shot is when the engine was off.

It is too early to predict.

Yeah...
These few weeks HGDEP had been slacking in the K230UB deployments compared to BNDEP, mainly due to no intake of Euro Vs and also very few K230UBs under HGDEP. For the past 2 days service 163's K230UB fleets had reduced to 25%.
So sad
...

I thought someone said in this topic that HGDEP would only take in the Euro 5s when the MK3s start retiring in Nov?Wonder if it is true.
Any idea whether Sv 39 would get Euro 5 kub's?...
one thing about the euro v is that when the door opens suddenly the aircon turns stronger and 2 seconds after the doors clsoe it goes back to its low flow mode.

In in order 2 keep inside the freshess at all times, it should be vice versa instead. Now, the aircon of SMRT Trains turn to maximum due to 'yellow' zone of H1N1 outbreak (even though S'pore dun hv any 1 at all). Tat was heard from the news yesterdat.

I think this is how the climate control is programmed... to only "pump" in more cold air after doors open and close. This might help to maintain the overall interior temperature and perhaps save on the aircon gas and coolant, however, the aircon is too weak to keep out the sun's heat at bay.
I almost got cooked on service 81's express sector.
