Eh HQ does the registration of buses, not the depots.
Btw,i noticed that the Euro 5s on svcs 3 and 81 have been bunching quite often now after they came in on these svcs.Saw SBS8600S and SBS8596X bunching on 81 at 12.25pm at Tam Ave 7 towards Tam Int.

Yah.Some of the svc 81 BCs are still having problems with the Euro 5s.Was waiting to take SBS8585C on 81 last monday.BC kept coming out of the bus many times to check the front, side and rear EDS before he signalled to us to go in.Then we he tried to reverse, the bus didn't move at all but just kept on jerking. The feeling was really sickening man. After some really hard tries, the BC managed to reverse the bus slowly although it kept stopping halfway and jerking. After we finally reversed out,the BC still wasn't able to steer the bus properly causing it to move very slowly and almost making it come to a stop. Many buses trying to exit the Int got jammed behind our bus and a svc 291 kub BC who was right behind us,got fed up and kept blasting his horn at us.Only when we reached Tam Ave 7,that the BC somehow managed to drive the bus properly even though he seemed nervous and drove very slowly and cautiously.Bus kept giving out 'farting' sounds also. Can say that he couldn't master driving the Euro 5s properly as fast as possible.Seems like this BCs need more time to adapt to the steering of the Euro 5s.
Just want to ask.Is the controlling of the Euro 5s more complex than the Euro 4s?

If HGDEP is to get Euro V, service 27 should be the one getting them. Always packed to the door and not enough seats, just like service 36. The Euro IVs can then be redeployed to other HGDEP services to replace the MK3s.
Maybe service 100 might also be getting Euro Vs to replace the existing Batch 1 perms which will eventually get transferred out from HGDEP.

MK3s will retire tentatively starting from November this year till June 2010, provided that there is no further 2 years extension.
Perhaps service 27 should get a mixture of Euro IVs and Vs.

given that SBST keep scrapping their buses like that, SBST will eventually be short of buses.
