For Airbus it is called fleet similarity and type ratings. Unfortunately the interface for buses isn't so same~... The A320 family uses the same type and crew ratings.

From scania euro 5 talk until aeroplane eh, so now I finally know that A320 is a Euro 5 engine. So what about the Singapore Airlines A380?? Is it a Euro 6??

Why the hype around Euro 6? Its not necessary better leh.
Euro 6 engines may burn 8% more fuel -

off topic, maybe u all interested: new new rapid pg wab KUBS are in production oready...got 2 units completed. saw the pic on a m'sia website. bus looks shorter than SG ones, probably made by gemilang....

Just want to ask.Is the controlling of the Euro 5s more complex than the Euro 4s?I think so. Just like what you've said, happened to one of the BCs in svc 3. He drive drive like very scared or horrifed of the bus.... Then he kept his ankle area at the seat there......

basically, i feel that the euro5 kub's have exhibited a marked improvement over the euro 4's.
the bus now feels like a quality product, not the rattly, light, hollow and jerky euro 4's.
the euro 5 feels much more stable, braking and acceleration jerk has been largely reduced. the new dashboard is much more stylish, and when changing gears, it barely jerks.
the new engine fan design isnt so annoying now.. it kinda blends with the engine sound at times.
although ride quality in terms of suspension damnping can be further improved, ithink this has gone a long way since the euro 4 kub's, in terms of refinement. the new bus is also much quieter and sems to be better insulated against road noise.

I defintely agree with your post.Including the turbo whistle sound.That is one of the features that makes the Euro 5's engine sound very nice.
