Not surprising, these yet-to-be registered buses can get themselves registered even after they have been assigned to their depots. Most of the buses are registered before they are sent to their various depots.

My review on Euro V:
Bus Taken: (EDIT)SBS8890X (Service 196: VS-Bedok Int)
Seats: Undoubtably increased and taken the PIW slot, not much difference from previous batches, only comment is the new granny seat is excellent, can see BC driving plus get a full road view, only the handle is made up of metal a little odd.
Suspension: Improved, bus does not shake so unnessary, however much work is needed to bring more comfort to the travel quality on KUB
EDS: Clearer, and the mords are differinated from the others, and the new position of Side EDS let passengers see clearly, will not be block by people boarding the bus
Gearbox. Although is a ZF 6 speed, it is still a little underpowered and cannot give the bus the push to go faster, and the gearbox sound like very roaring, should be slienced or at least like strider style, more quiet bus environment
Overall: Not a great improvement, still okay ride.
Improvements that should be made: Squeeze a additional row of seats at back potion like OC500LE, allow the side facing seats to be front facing, safer.......Improve suspension

it depends on the driver...
SBS8627R, SBS8890X > sv48
EEV on sv62 spotted bus at Sengkang twds Hougang around 1504hrs

If the BC puts the same sudden brakes like that on the Mercs or Volvos, they won't jerk forward so suddenly like that because the Euro 4 kubs are almost hopeless in every aspect except for a very few.
I have seen the BCs driving the kubs ramming the accelerators as if trying to make them go faster but they would only give a weak roar of acceleration for abt 4-5 secs be4 they stubbornly return to their same speed again. If the BCs did that to a Merc or volvo, they would pick up speed so fast and shoot forward like a bullet.![]()

Ev1 has their share of trips on Euro IVs, notice that if the BC press the brake to stop at bus stops and release to move the bus forward, there is a dull 2-3 second delay for the auto brakes to "disengage" which explains a slight jerk before acceleration kicks in... same as departed Scania N113CRB
this is not present in EEVs though.
BCs need to acquaint themselves fully with the bus for a smoother ride for ev1...
Saw SBS8630E on Svc 5 today. Rear EDS was blank, not working.
Cheers.
I took SBS8517A on 358 (cameo) today.
Quite a smooth ride. Sometimes on euro iv you can see the bar handle shake very violently but during this trip the vibration was not apparent.
Maybe it is because it is one of the later batches of euro iv, which is why the jerking is reduced a lot compared to the 81xx, 82xx series

85xxX series very well-tuned... Much smoother than the 81xxX and 82xxX batch 2 Euro IV KUBs...
Of which 8548 is one of the smoothest. 8547 now a little rattling...

this bus really can recommend. i took it on 6 last time, and the whole round trip was smooth! not much of vibrations.
