Hopefully SBST's Scania K230UBs will not end up like the Elbo Scanias that SMRT have.

I think the late Batch 2 Euro IV KUBs(85xx range) is very well-tuned. The Euro EEVs too. Won't become rattling buses anytime soon... Early Batch 2 and most Batch 1 Euro IVs are very jerky and most are already rattling. But surprising 8034B, the second or third Batch 1 KUB Euro IV(perm 174), is nothing like that leh... I think maintainence also plays a part in that.

TIB 848 D sort of underwent a full refurbishment one or two years back. It was on hiatus for quite a while.

Yah. Due to passengers' complains that the bus is VERY VERY dirty, WLDEP had to refurbish the bus and perm 961, then perm 852.
Wow, today just took 36 on SBS9565K and it went to a max speed of 80kph! Anyone know the rated top speed for the KUBs?
