mm, the Euro IV buses are referring to the majority i.e. the 500 production buses which most commuters will commute in everyday. 8033D's not really counted ba since the interior's specially made for it to reflect SBST's corporate colour and i love it.
but the glaring brown interior still clashes with the purple poles and red seats imo for the production version.

Me too.I also love SBS8033D's purple interior and it's VSO style seats.The seats are so comfortable man.It's just like travelling on a VSO.But honestly to say,it's engine sound has changed terribly and it sounds like some choking old truck which has served for almost 15 years.And needless to say,it's aircon has seriously failed.I don't know wat the heck did SLBP did to this bus but when it just came out,it's aircon was really a freezer.Now everything has seriously went downhill.But nonetheless,i still love it's cool purple interior and it's comfortable VSO seats.
I feel that SBST should have applied this design to the actual kubs cuz the brown interior is way too dull and boring.At least if 8033D's interior design was applied to the actual kubs,they wouldn't look so boring as a whole.It's exterior design also could have been put into some of the kubs as well not all. -

Brown is perfectly fine. Look at the Penang one and you'll appreciate SBST's choice of colours. ;)

wonder if the eevs could have used 8033d interior instead...aft all, 900 of them on the roads would be a headache...since bodywork nvr change, y not interior?

Yeah the brown is really too dull.Yeah like u said,SBST could have followed light red for the interior and the aircon ducts just like the older SBST buses such as the VO3X,MK3s,MK4s and so on.
As for SMRT,they should have sticked to their green interior for the OCs.The green interior is really nice too.If it was put for the OCs,their interior would definitely look very great.But nvm the brown interior for the OCs dosen't look too bad unlike for the kubs. -

Yeah thats why.At least if the Euro 5s had their interiors like 8033D,that could have been a great change and the kubs won't look so boring overall as in the exterior and the interior also.All the 900 of them not much change except all the very minor ones. -

But u must understand the interior is in polished surface. Easy to clean, dust or fingerprints not easy to stay there. If u see SBS 8030L interior, easy to get duct & fingerprints.
