it seem like 8753/8755/8756 are parking at some other depots first before transferred to AMDEP due to lack of space...

Maybe can also use from 2839 onwards (2838 was the last number to be used for Volvo MK4 DM3500).
Volvo DDs will most probably continue from 7500.

31 Aug was the de-registration date for some Merc WAs. Most probably some space in AMDEP were cleared out on that day before these new Euro 5s come in. This is what I think so ![]()

The space was cleared out early last week, however, there are still more than 20 laid up Mercs there and they took in 8966-8968 + 8757-8762 last week... plus the BNDEP Sv 58 bus fleets.. this week then AMDEP start to take in 8753/8755/8756 which was registered much earlier

Its likely at hgdep/BA HG since the buses come from there..

if many of the Mercs are still working well and still not over-clocking mileage, why replace them? Waste company money only.

17 years lifespan+2 years extension as governed by LTA. Even though many Mercs are working well, we can't deny that it is old and spare parts/maintanience will have become more costlier. It's financially better to replace it with more modern offerings that boasts more technologcal advances, fuel efficiency, easier maintanience, easier accessibility and more cost savings for the company.

SLBP still got 7 CAC Merc for the Nov 30 batch to be lay up. think it will be taking in some more EEV...
considering AMDEP still got so much WA merc, it will need to take in more EEVs... now it is 92. think will hit 100 very soon..
