SBS Transit orders 900 buses from Scania (Part 4)

  Saw a KUB with alot of scortchtape pasted at front windscreen & bumper, in contact with BC window & front doors. The BC side,near back also got scortchtape. Not sure it got new front or got into accident. A mechanic was inside driving the bus, near Hougang.

  Rego seems to be: SBS857** (Can't guarantee is 5, but 8 & 7 are confirmed)

  however, Volvo's concept car also has this feature and enhanced it by braking the vehicle[if the driver is not reacting] when it senses a collision is imminent with the vehicle in front or it's following too close if the car is speeding after a certain speed...
  Merc latest E class has this feature...
  There is tendency to share safety technology for European Marques...

  cant you see that Jay is just joking? When TIB1232Z say it is on Sv 124, isnt it is obvious it belong to AMDEP but yet someone can ask whether it is under AMDEP?

  If you noticed, the EU is more stringent with their ratings and standards, which are adopted widely worldwide. The Euro emission standards and the crash test safety (NCAPS or something?) are some of them.

  I noticed that the BNDEP Euro 4 Scania K230UBs had their EDSes editted again. Some of the 83xx - 85xx series had their bus service number displays bigger, bolded and rounded. Saw it on services 12, 19, 29, 39, 359 today.
