I heard some of the KUB horn has changed. Now the sound is more solid "Beep", not "grrr".

8439S has thinner back EDS "185" -
Most of the earlier batches of the kubs are in quite bad condition nw.The 80xx and 81xx series have started roaring like crazy.
And 2 weeks ago i and jayh saw 8283Z blowing out huge amounts of black smoke at Bishan.While it was moving out from the bus stop,first it gave out a small cloud of black smoke.Then suddenly the bus gave out a whole cloud of thick black smoke from the exhaust engulfing the whole road in thick black smoke.The poor cars and especially a motorbike that was behind 8283Z all had to slow down immediately in order not to hit 8283Z.The sudden outburst of the black smoke by 8283Z left the middle lane of the road with thick black soot marks.
Nt only 8283Z but this time also saw a svc 64 kub(8407J Iirc) blowing out light greyish smoke.It was even more scarier looking at this bus than 8283Z as it was moving while so much thick cloud of smoke was coming out non-stop but the bus just continued moving.Thought it was abt to breakdown but in the end it didnt which made me puzzled abt this thick cloud of smoke suddenly coming out from the exhausts of the kubs.
SBST boasts that they are 'environmentally friendly'.But even normal Euro 1/2/3 buses seem to be even better than some of this Euro 4 kubs.I just wonder what wld happen if somebody took a vid of this and sent it to SBST or somebody else.A big disgrace.Claiming something to be so 'environmentally friendly' when in the end it seems to be destroying the surroundings even more.I rather the normal Mercs/MK3s/4s be called 'environmentally friendly' since that at least they dont seem to be as worse as this so called 'environmentally friendly' engines.Something seriously needs to be done to the kubs as they really seem to be deproving day by day in their standards. -

To conclude about new bolded front EDS from 8310 to 8432 batch:
Most of BNDEP, BRBP, SLBP buses had gotton their one, spotted them on services 45, 157, 185
Some of AMDEPbuses still stay with the front thin EDS, spotted them on services 13, 86 and 268
Unsure about BBDEP.

I rmb they did start with Soon Lee Rd then Pioneer Rd North before changing it back to its homely destination.

You haven't see certain buses that let out black smoke other than the K230UBs. So please assess other buses before putting whatever "not standard" things about the K230UBs. Would really appreciate that. THANK YOU!!

around this week they changeonly some KUBs... the 2 Euro Vs still the same, "Pioneer Rd Nth"
if i remember, 8318, 8325, 8436,8437, 8438 has its ending destination changed to Soon Lee Rd
IMO, they shld put Soon Lee Rd or Soon Lee Bus Park because the last bus-stop is at Soon Lee Rd itself
