Bringing a big item on board

Hello all, I am wondering if one is able to bring a larger item with them when they're commuting in a bus or mrt? Say for example, a bicycle? Is it allowed in the busses and trains?

Wow that's fast..hmm so only foldable bicycles allowed, but our own ones not allowed? And what is the outcome of the trial? It has been more then 6 months..

some guidelines for foldable bicycles onboard buses & trains
- Should not exceed 114 cm by 64 cm by 36 cm when folded
- You're responsible for the safe carriage of the foldable bicycles
- Should be folded at all times in the MRT/ LRT stations, bus interchanges/ terminals and on trains and buses
- Wheels should be wrapped up if they are dirty or wet
- Protruding parts likely to cause injury, dirty or damage property are to be covered
- Should not block the aisles and doors
- Only one foldable bicycle is allowed on each bus at any one time
- Should use the first or last car, which is less crowded (for trains)
- Not allowed on the upper deck of a bus or placed on the staircase leading to the upper deck

over already. trial from 24 may to 24 nov last year -
