I predict tat the follow bus svc will b withdrawn due to parallel to CCL
24, 43, 80, maybe 93.
Most of SBS bus svc along CCL corridor (paya lebar area) will be affected most.
May be the follow bus svc will be affected?
22, 24, 43, 70, 70M, 76, 80, 135, 154, 155, 158
43, 70/70M, 76 will be intregated?
svc 22 from tampines - loop @ ubi?
MacPherson Svc to be rationalize?
Anymore affected?
SMRT svc does not affected at all, may b intro new svc? cos CCL is under SMRT=)

Sometimes I wonder can e NSL & EWL cope with more bus rationaliation?
CCL under SMRT does not mean SMRT would introduce new bus svs. that corridor isn't theirs
24 whole route parallel MRT. probably will go.
sv155 wont be affected much i guess. it only calls at one new CCL station.
sv135 probably wont be affected too.
93 i doubt so.
i think majority of SBS svc around CCL will be affected when is fully operational by 2011.
Don think SMRT svc will be affected.

24 tis one I guess probably not. dun forget there's 1 corner of Changi & Lor Chuan not served by MRT. I guess it might end up with fleet reduction, say freq of 12 mins
I think it would not be good if they're going to force more ppl to take NSL/ EWL to e new CCL corridor when e exisitng lines are alrdy have capacity crunch. lots of complains might come around
but still im hoping they wont rationalise. if they take off sv28, sv93, sv24, sv22, sv158, what... they squeezing three DD loads and two SD loads into a single 3 carriage train. i'd be surprised if it doesnt blow out ![]()

not to say making e alrdy packed EWL overloaded
93 will go when the entire line opens.
The rationalisation you all are talking about is when? As for the upcoming section, it is already mentioned in the papers that "no bus services will be affected".

Hopefully they'll be doing route amendments instead. Not exactly that they'll be they squeezing three DD loads and two SD loads into a single 3 carriage train because apart from those loads, you have to add in the actual CC line passenger.
And CC Line isn't served by one train. Too packed? wait for the next train.
can revive this thread 2mths before the entire line fully opens.
IF the whole CCL opens, I will predict that Service 93 will be withdrawn.
Will do a write-up by tmr.
Lets see about that

by then should be asking why only build 3 carriage and trying to replace all e bus svs? I predict when fully ops, CCL peak freq could max be 3 - 4 mins only
didnt lta say something about letting bus routes duplicate the mrt line before? i think they will amend the routes but not withdraw the route.

to me I think 93 would be badly affected but unless it is like svc 147 like that lor... nearly withdrawn but never

Got a feeling best scenario is amended to Bt Merah New Town.
Anyway for CCL3, I believe the total travelling time bet Bartley & Marymount would be about 9 mins. Hence I believe e peak freq would be 4 - 6 mins & off peak being 11 mins ![]()

i remember some article saying CCL's a lower capacity shuttle metro of sorts, so that's why it's 3 cars. may have remembered the wrong terms or the wrong words, but it's something like this. =\
Don't all of you read the papers!!! Or too poor to buy???
Newspaper already mentioned no rationalisation for CCL, so why the thread. Or we have too many people jiak bah bo sai pang become keyboard fortune teller
