It is three cars becaus the full line is yet to open. The line will be operated by cars with 4 cabs when it fully opens.
3 cabs now because of limited numbers of stations. Bunch of noobs. Act smart not smart

24, 43, 80, maybe 93.
Most of SBS bus svc along CCL corridor (paya lebar area) will be affected most.
May be the follow bus svc will be affected?
22, 24, 43, 70, 70M, 76, 80, 135, 154, 155, 158
43, 70/70M, 76 will be intregated?
svc 22 from tampines - loop @ ubi?
MacPherson Svc to be rationalize?
Anymore affected?
SMRT svc does not affected at all, may b intro new svc? cos CCL is under SMRT=)

it's only for CCL3.. there's a clause 'going forward, bus routes might be adjusted as the CCL goes fully operational'!

Another nincompoop. The gassies fuel tank do not allow for operations on 105 long term unless serangoon north CNG station can accomodate them

I think that the buses that will be withdrawn will be:
58, 158 & Some of the MacPherson Est Svc
24 is not a possibly going to be withdrawn coz this service only serves 4 MRT station mainly, Bartley, Tai Seng, MacPherson, Paya Lebar. Furthermore, It is the only bus for passengers from Ang Mo Kio to get their groceries at Geylang Market or travel to Changi Airport. This bus service is very "ancient".
For 58, It currently have a low passenger demand during off-peak hours but not during peak hours. But one good thing about 58 is it caters to passengers who are from Ubi & Kaki Bukit to have an alternative service besides 55 & 59 respectively to get to Bishan. I have to say 50/50 for this service.
As for 158...I have no comments but it mainly caters to the School children mainly fron St Gabriel, Bartley, etc...I'm not so sure abt the demand....
Just my opinion only...you can leave ur opinion also...

Great. I like this... somebody is able to talk and quote sources. unlike the othe keyboard fortune tellers. This is the kind of constructive post we should all look to, not spamming threads to up post counts.

The rolling stock consists of Alstom Metropolis C830 trains[8] running in three-car formation

That does not matter where it rests. Can you make it run A/P shift
based on e 40 trains ordered.. seems peak hr freq at most can only be 4 mins for CCL ![]()

it has always been S shift buses oweing to e cost

What is the purpose of this thread?
Any bus rationalisation would have been announced by now for CCL3.

Even though it is stated that there will be no rationalisation, but who knows in the near future?
So , what's your post trying to say?
