  Not sure, that one you have to ask the company. I have no clue what's their criteria and prodecure for changing the EDS. Probably they just do it on random.

  It's most likely random,seeing my volgren mercs just kena mobbed when their TwinVisions were perfectly fine.

  One of the possible reasons is because even after many years of normal use, the flip dot EDS may cause "wear and tear", i.e. several of the small flip dot on its matrix will not be flipped well, just like the Transit Media ones on O405g habit bendy. In some cases, the entire EDS is in a technical falut and in need of replacement. Take a good look at TIB1018B or TIB1240A, several of its small flip dots are already not flipped well (some yellow dots can be seen when the EDS is programmed to blank)

  Not really. According to my friend, they actually do it by duty sequence orders. For 965, 972C is before 962G. And since both kena new EDS, 533L will be the next one, since she's been missing yesterday.

  As you can see from the pictures, each time its front EDS is scrolling its destinations, the side EDS would scroll its service number '975' in bold and in normal fonts. On the 3rd picture, the font is condensed to match the font style of "OLD LIM CHU KANG RD". The last 2 pictures shows the contrast of the side EDS displaying '975' on bold and normal font style.

  TIB744U (WLDEP 61) is now MOBITEC as well. She was missing yesterday (11/11/2009). Back on Svc 61 today (12/11/2009). It only took her one day to change the EDS.

  EDIT: TIB752X (WLDEP 173) is now MOBITEC as well (13/11/2009). She was missing yesterday (12/11/2009).

  TIB816X still has LAWO Luminator EDS. That was 481C doing 171 yesterday, sorry for the mishap.
