Hey also if anyone else is unhappy about me posting too many pics, give me a pm or msn. I also feel abit bad posting too much images and like trying to hog the limelight or something. Don't worry, just let me know and i'll reduce the number of pics i post.
edit - something i was not aware of is that loading too many pictures lags the computer or something....i apologise as this is my mistake in contributing too much photos and causing downtime for a few people.
hmm, agreed.. IMO, Posting URL is better than posting one big chunk of pictures, cos I know I might lag out suddenly if too many pictures are posted. -

These markers (permanent markers) are generally not truly permanent as, on most surfaces, they do not stain but form a surface layer that can be removed by high pressure cleaning or paint thinning solvents such as acetone, and they will eventually wear away over time. (Wikipedia)

initially, all B10M's and O.405's came with rim guards.
and then some years ago, they decided to strip the B10M's of their rim guards.
hmm, lemme see if i can find some pics to compare..

typical volvo axle.
notice the black ring covering the 10 wheel nuts (wheel nuts are the bigger cylinder shaped things, not the smaller ones. smaller ones are hub nuts.), that is a rim guard, or as some people call them, nut guards.
