so much for standing in queue.. next time i stand near the berth than whn ppl dont board i can quickly get into the bus (not if the queue is short, of course. can get seat mah.) really it's quite tiring to be standing for 30+ mins.. but that's also the case for those who get to work/sch in the morning after the first few stops. eg. 15 all the way after PP to TP.. frm Teluk Kurau Rd the bus is almost full and gets full all the way up to TPif u really want a seat then take MRT though it takes double the time.. from Tamp to City Hall u are guaranteed at a seat.. but from CH.. good luck.. all the more u may end up standing the same amount of time

After investigations carried out by SMRT, the company found that the shuttle bus driver had gone against the company's guidelines, and have since been reprimanded for stepping out of the bus while leaving the engine on.
This is following a STOMP posting by STOMPer hd51sgcck who noticed this bus parked along Tampines Avenue 6 with its engine running, while the driver was sitting outside watching a group of people flying radio-controlled aircrafts.
A Spokesperson for SMRT told STOMP:
"I refer to STOMPer hd51sgcck's post "Driver parks bus along roadside to watch people flying RC aircrafts" (20 July).
"Our investigations showed that on 20 July, the Service Representative (SR) of the shuttle bus service was taking a break before starting his next shift of ferrying passengers."He had not parked at the designated area during his break, and did not turn off the engine when he stepped out of the bus for his break. This is against company guidelines.
"We have since reprimanded him on the matter.
"We thank STOMPer hd51sgcck for his feedback." -
