The comments on that site is much more interesting.
Today on ST Forum 'My Point': (Probably the first complain about SMRT OCs)
New buses
'Two steps forward but three steps backwards.'
MR MICHAEL LIM: 'The new Euro V buses bought by SMRT are two steps forward but three steps backwards. The loud noises and vibrations from the engines assail passengers. Pity the drivers who have to endure them daily for hours. Older buses had far greater levels of comfort, smoothness and silence that made them a joy to ride on.'

He must have taken an ill maintained bus. Noise level wise, my song volumes on OCs are usually abt 25% lower than that of "older" buses... Except front of bendies.

If they vibrate badly, then KUB how?
Out of 500 over OC rides since the start of the year I've only encountered 2 unsatisfactory rides so far. They have not disappointed me at all in terms of air-con (Boo to those who insist that the air-conditioning sucks), comfort, and silence.

Hmm.. about this, i personally think that if this guy is actually commenting about the batch 1's, i would be by his' side. Its because the ZF gearbox is quite jerky than Batch 2's when deacclerating fast. Either from 4th gear to 3rd, or 3rd to 2nd gear. It has this 'push-pull gravity effect' while sitting down when this happens. I recall seeing a young lady falling down while going down the steps when the bus is deacelerating on 67 (SMB3C)

Oh wow! I didn't know riding on N113CRBs are so comfortable. This guy should really try out other buses and compare which one really stands out.

Usually occur at the back of a DD on the upper deck.
