To raise awareness on how to avoid being a nusiance and inconvenience to other passengers. In some circumstances, SMRT won't even look into the minor complaint or any trivial issues raised up by commuters.

Once, I took 171 and the bus was hot and stuffy as the air-con's spoilt.
Uncle suddenly stops at one bus stop and ask... Can I break down? Its so hot.
Commuters said no... I had waited 20 minutes for the bus! Presume they encountered the same problem... LOL...

Remember one time I took TIB762S on 169 (Duty 169S107) from WRI to RP, the bus was hot and stuffy too as the air-con was not strong.

SBS bus driver fined $6000 for causing woman's death
SINGAPORE: An SBS bus driver has been fined $6,000 for a negligent act that resulted in the death of a 67-year-old pedestrian.
55-year-old Chung Nget Min, who had lost his job of 20 years, is now a security officer.
He has also been disqualified from operating all vehicles for four years.
Chung was driving bus service number 162 along Sin Ming Avenue towards Marymount Road at around 8.20pm on March 11 this year when he knocked into Roop Nanwani.
The court heard that he had failed to keep a proper lookout for Ms Roop who was crossing the road at that time.
She was sent to Tan Tock Seng Hospital but succumbed to head injuries on March 13.
Ms Roop was pronounced dead at around 4.30am that day.
For the negligent act, Chung could have been sentenced to up to two years' jail, fined or both. - CNA/jm
