It is normal for the OAC buses to get freezy during night. I took the DM3500 on 506 last year, made me get flu.

I BOARDED a Service 851 bus in Henderson Road last Saturday at 6pm with the intention of alighting at the Clarke Quay bus stop.

A short distance into the trip, as the bus was in Outram Road, the driver turned left onto the Central Expressway. The passengers remained calm as they thought that there was a traffic diversion due to the Mooncake Festival in Chinatown.

A passenger then approached the driver for an explanation and it became apparent that the driver was not familiar with Singapore roads. The passengers became agitated when the bus reached the end of the tunnel and continued north.

I got off at the first opportunity and do not know what happened next.

I can only hope that the authorities do more to stop to such things from happening again.

After the Chin Swee tunnel, the first exit is at Moulmein Rd, I guess the bus exited here, proceed to Thomson Rd and continues the route.

If nobody went to stop the driver, he may had exited the expressway at Lentor Ave. Then this will be truely express service 851.

Who mainly cause dirty? Commuters, most probably. If they keep the bus clean by throwing the rubbish into the bin, I doubt the bus is dirty again.
