Ok, even if he is not on a tight schedule, The time he spend waiting for ppl could mean a longer break time.If u r going to dily daly while wanting to board, I make sure you miss the bus and take the next one available, even if this bus is the last.
from wat you're implying
wat's a schedule indicating checkpoint stops for?

If the SL arrive at Int earlier than more than 4 mins, he/she will get summoned whereas if he lambat by somehow, he will not get fined instead. Most of buses will get lambat because of heavy jam during peak hours, no choice.
of course ma
then implement schedule for wat.
but the loophole is the bus co can forever say traffic condition if they decide not to plan properly to cover QoS

excuses such as:
Wah, cannot lah, today so tired, I want to faster reach home, where your home is just a few hundered meters only want to take bus, Hundered meters then walk, no bus won't kill, I walk can reach already, 15 minutes can reach le.
buses bunching up, and packed, also complain and wait like a fool there for half an hour if you wait there I walk I would've reached, rather than waiting there like a fool.
bus air con not working, also complain.
call you all lazy I got scolded for being selfish, but the problem is why can't people look for other alternatives rather than relying on bus with irregular frequencies?
Bus Air Con not working, complain wrong? Dude, we are paying Aircon bus fare... Not non-aircon. So, we don't even have the rights to complain? Bus Air Con has got nothing to do with bus frequencies.

C'mon. Why LTA introduced the distance fares scheme? To encourage commuters to transfer.... Transferring to a feeder/intratown service can only, sometimes cost only cents.... So, may I ask u.... Who don't want to transfer? I know u few hundred meters can walk.... So can I... Elderly? Visually handicapped? PIW?
Yes. U are selfish to say that we are all lazy... Do elderly have a choice? What about the visually handicapped? What about PIWs?
I can look into other alternatives... Elderly? Visually handicapped? PIWs? C'mon....

Ex bus driver charged with dangerous driving
SINGAPORE: A former SMRT bus driver was charged on Wednesday morning in a district court with allegedly driving in a dangerous manner which killed a pedestrian.
Forty-three-year-old Chang I Ching is accused of failing to give way to 28-year-old Puyi Astutik on April 24 at a pedestrian crossing while driving an SMRT bendy bus, Service 302.
Ms Puyi was crossing the junction of Choa Chu Kang Street 52 and Choa Chu Kang North 6 when the bus hit her.
The Indonesian
domestic maid was carrying her employer's baby daughter and had
reportedly saved her by pushing the baby away from the bus.
The baby escaped with minor scratches but Miss Puyi died from her injuries later that night.
The green man signal was in her favour, court documents said.
Chang's case will be heard again on Jan 31.
If convicted of dangerous driving, Chang could be jailed up to five years.
Chang,
who was born in Taiwan and who became a Singapore citizen in 1991, had
been a bus driver with SMRT for the past two-and-a-half years before the
incident.
Following the accident, the mother of two children was sacked by SMRT.

Double deckers with curves and style.
Noticed anything different about SBS Transit's double decker buses?
For nearly two months, 11 new vehicles with new distinctive oval-shaped front and back windscreens have been on the roads.
The bodywork of the Volvo buses is made by Wrightbus, a Bristish manufacturer renowed for its aesthetic designs, said SBS Transit.
"They have more stylish interior and are more curvy rather than boxy in design," said Ms Tammy Tan, senior vice president of corporate communications.
The wheelchair friendly buses are used on services 60, 174 and 185.
With a capacity of 131 passengers, they carry a similar number of passengers as other double decker models.
More are being delivered, which will be used on other bus routes.
They are among the 450 double deckers ordered by the company over the last two years. They will all be delivered by 2012.
The 450 buses have engines which are compliant with EURO V, an emission standard adhered to vehciles sold in the European Union.
In 2006, SBS Transit started using wheelchair acessible ones.
