I stumbled on this article from The Star (MY newspaper) of 2008 and I'd like to hear the opinions of fellow Bus Enthusiasts. Maybe the Seniors can help out on this...Apparently this Routemaster is not allowed on the roads of MY till today.

I thought this Routemaster had surfaced in Genting Highlands but it was a totally different Routemaster altogether. Thanx SBS3758D for the pix from your website.

Wouldn't it be lovely if we can have this Routemaster in SG? Probably we can propose this Routemaster to the Duck & Hippo Tours operators. It's a pity to have this piece of history left out under the rain for three whole years!
would love to. never sat on one before at all.
looks cool...always wanted to seat in one..
Maybe it should be sent to the UK for preservation. I doubt local tour operators will want to operate the routemaster without experience and probably difficulty in obtaining spare parts.
The Routemaster has an engine similar to the Leyland Atlantean, juz that it's front-mounted unlike the rear engined Atlantean. Probably a new engine implant may ease the problem.
Old ride with a new heart.
Our local tour operators brought in the Duck Amphibian which is a much bigger hassle than a simple Routemaster. I don't see why we couldn't propose this Routemaster into SG rather than rusting away in Port Dickson.

I knew I wasn't dreaming back then...I was probably 3 or 4 years old when I took the Routemaster in Sentosa. I found this old photograph from the internet.

Anyone knows of the whereabouts of these Routemasters?
