Yup but Singapore is a country where the free market dictates the policy that companies should take and the bus operators have to cherry up with their investors(shareholders)... I think the bus operators should make the basic for travellers and then the industry can be expanded. That also means that they should standardise the maintainence of equipment and the quality should be uniform thru-out the company.

Every depot have their own ways of doing things. As long the buses can take passengers and bring you to the destination you wanted is good enough. You would be glad if SBST close down bndep, then how you going to get out of Tampines? Just live with it and stop yalking here.

If you do not know every little aspects of what SBST is doing, I susgest you to shut up. I may know a lot of information regarding SBST, but let me tell you that what you are saying is obsolutely crap.Try and flame me back, and I shall see how many people out there are laughing with your own "thinkings" about SBST. if this issue only concerns the staff, it's fine. punish them for doing what they should be doing better, and reward those outstanding ones.
unfortunately not all services in singapore are EB or TRG.

The lack of decent levels of standards is what make BNDEP Uniquely BNDEP! Where else can you find K230s with Blacked out rear EDSes (8219K - now still blacked out
) MK IVs with Fractured Mirrors (2768G - fixed), masking tape everywhere...
P.S. ... and buses that run >85km/h.
To mechanics of BNDEP:
Firstly, SBS1940G's speedometer needs to be resat. It's jutting out from the dashboard.
SBS1985C's skyliner needs repairing. One of the legs is very rusty and has a tree branch stuck in it.
SBS1988U's BC cabin needs some paint. The white remains from the glue gun looks very unsightly.
SBS2830J needs to be overhauled. The whole bus vibrates when accelerating and is the bus that most frequently breaks down in the 10e fleet.
Finally, can you please grant my pal SBS8219K its wish of having its rear EDS working again?

P.S. I also need someone to fix my ventilation fans. The rearmost one is leaking water when it rains. I think its not sealed properly. I would apppreciate it if no more glue guns were used.

You go and be the manager or mechanics or cleaners at BNDEP. I think that it will boost the standards up.Don't like eastern buses, go live in the west. No one's stopping you. Not everyone welcome such suggestions. Please mind what you want to say in future.

because of you, my wish is that when the circle line opens from dhoby ghaut - marymount. is that 70 is shortened to serangoon int from yck ter and attain full hgdep control where it has a full MKIII fleet from its big number of spares (it will take MKIV DM when MKIII retire and den Strider etc.) and probably the full fleet size would be 6 buses.
then, the whole amdep fleet would be released to accomodate more parking space in amdep. and then 86 follow suit?
honestly speaking, every area should have some freedom to be able to receive new buses, its whether sbst feels that these new buses are needed in that particular depot to be despatched on a particular route. esp also when its depot has a large number of its fleet thats about to go into retirement.
Whatever your opinion is, it is very self-centered rather than it is gonna help SBST if things were done the way you want it to.

Can people like SMB32T and fryderyk hph stop ther wishful thinking and ridiculous suggestions? One keep wishing for newer buses to come to his area. Another keep whining about lousy buses in BN and should not get newer buses.Haven't learnt your lessons. Kena flamed before and yet continuing with such comments. We are all sick of it, even if you are not.
Hey, this isn't a place for you to decide the deployments. If you think you can manage so well, there's always HR dept in bus companies. Just go and interview and you can change the deployments if youare successful.
If you have nothing else to contribute here other than updating deployments, well, just shut up and read. No one is asking for these unwanted opinions.

Hey, this isn't a place for you to decide the deployments. If you think you can manage so well, there's always HR dept in bus companies. Just go and interview and you can change the deployments if youare successful.
