The service number looks like a feeder bus service to me.

but got alot of factors
firstly, is there is spare queueing berths for this svc at both interchanges?
secondly, this vc will be the longest journey mad, will the drivers can make it?
and lastly, will they earn much passengers?

Applications for new routes must also go through the PTC. In addition, SBS Transit will not adopt your suggested route number as they may have a guideline to follow when numbering routes. 28x services are currently reserved more for Clementi-based feeder routes.
Don't let us speculate here if it is not confirmed.
About the suggested route, the part to Petir/Bukit Panjang can most probably be cut back or truncated (as it consumes time).

Route duplication with SMRT line couple with LTA move to ask passengers do more tfrs... i dun tink it will go through, tfr rebates are to raise to 60c the nex round
Hmm can go more of Boon Lay area and Tampines Area, that would be more good
PM peak hour + accident on PIE > 3hrs full trip.
