its like asking 79 to merge with 181. they cater to 2 different purposes.
agree. 181 is to serve ave 3 residents only
coz what i notice is they all keep saying to merge 181 with JE feeder. I still remember someone here suggest a svc that merge 181 with 333/334/335... cant remember the page

Its just at the previous page where jayh and sbs8104h suggested merging 181 with 333/335.

one of the point at tuas basin.. watch it! around 7.30 can see the looping
This is the looping point at the end of Tuas Rd. Service 249 has a similar one at the end of Tanjong Kling Rd.
Service 257 also make a U-turn at the end of Gul Rd and Pioneer Sector 1.
Sv. 403 makes a three-point turn/u-turn at end of Elias Road(or was it called Pasir Ris Road?)...

It loops back at the roundabout of Pasir Ris Rd and Pasir Ris Heights.
Similar for service 354 which loops back at the roundabout of Pasir Ris Close and Jln Loyang Besar.
Originally posted by .SBS9888Y.:the loads for 124 and 273 are different, their frequencies are different. unless you plan to operate a 124M which is a 273 the whole day which at the end of the day will be the same as it was before.
131 serving bt purmei was meant to withdraw 275. but due to opposition against its withdrawal. it was kept. honestly 131 without 275 is fine as they duplicate each other all the way cos 275 is fetching way more seats than people and is directly competing with 131 which is good as purmei residents sure are vocal. however, when 131's frequency gets messed up, 275 backs 131's purmei residents. 131 is a hard route alot of complains esp from owen rd side and purmei side. notice people at st mieks dun complain even thoguh they arent that accessible but i believe fro thsoe in purmei and owen their links are worse, thats probably why.
What I meant was the roundabout @ the end of Telok Blangah Dr or Hts. You went totally off tangent.
Why not for 181/ 335 merger?
It helps to bring residents to e Neighbourhood 5 market n to Jurong East Town Ctr. Thing is, 335's route is complicating at e market side

o.O...
Have... In direction towards Tomlimson Road(Loop)
I remember last time taking 36 to VS, some of the drivers just dun stop at that bus stop, just continue at 60kmph(or sometimes more) along the ECP. That means after the bus stop outside BT, the next stop is Marine Parade Road first stop. Dunnoe whether this is illegal or what...
Then again some of the striders/DM3500/DM speed limitor gone liao, can speed like mad... I like when drivers actually speed. I remember the fastest timing I did from BT stop to VS stop was something like 10 min(!)...

I think 335's route is ok already. One terminates at BL while the other at JE.. hard to merge to benefit both sides...
if 181 and 335 is impossible to merge, then don't. I was just merely giving a suggestion. I want to see what is your prespective.
I think it will be a challenge to merge 181 and 335, unless 181 turns right from the JW St 22/23 area and run down Ave 2 and go back up Jln Boon Lay and into Boon Lay Way before resuming normal 335 route at St 51, which will really extend the route quite a bit.
unless such a move will generate much greater demand that its frequencies go beyond what they are now (especially 335), it wont be helpful.

unless the bus turns left down JW Ave 2 and into Corporation Rd,JW Ave 1 and turns to St 51 where it plys on 335's route all the way to JEINT. I think it would not really be a challange

yep, I sat on it(103M) before, there's a roundabout that the BC drives onto the sandy area of the road

Wouldn't that be a long feeder service route?

Most of the times, the buses that arrive at the Ter also dosen't park at the designated parking bays for them and instead just parks at the alighting bays and depart from there again.Such a big area for parking seems to be wasted.Sometimes only the police cars that do inspection will park there. But for me,the most record i have seen there was seeing 2 Mercs(1 DM CAC,1 WA) and 1 VO2X parking at the parking bays. But there was still another WA Merc parking at the alighting bay at that time. That was my only time seeing so many buses parking in the alighting bay of Tuas Ter.![]()

Tuas Checkpoint... theres people at the bus stop during most times of the day
Yeah i also have seen mostly people who work outside eating at the canteen at Tuas Ter.
Don't mention Tuas Checkpoint.Of course there would be lots of people around the area.
Thats why like i said,if the Checkpoint isn't there, the Ter would be like in the middle of the dessert with only the open sea facing it.![]()

Both 103M and 103 did 3-point turn at different places; 103M near Seletar Airport and 103 outside Seletar Camp. Was wondering why 103M was used instead of other numbers.
Cheers.
