I started out as a bus fan without knowing majority of the bus routes and other places of singapore. I keep joyriding and joyride until I managed to familiar the places, especially around the eastern & the north-eastern side. Even now, I occasionally joyride myself to the eastern side to enjoy the freshness of the air like East Coast park, Changi Airport, Pasir ris, Changi Beach etc but I also spent mytime now around the city area to enjoy the senary of the city skyline during the evening to night period. And also not forgetting the west & north also. You can also joyride around to search for delicious food around the corner of singapore. All these you will eventually slowly familiar yourself around singapore.

So my advice to all participants is to study on the road directory before the race, and also the bus routes to familier yourself around singapore. It's not difficult actually. Give yourself 3 - 4 days to joyride around to familiar the places of singapore. And also take sometime off to go to the youth park which is near around somerset so that on the actual day itself you can directly go to the meeting point without searching around aimlessly and keep calling on your friends to point out directions to the meeting point.

Haha no. Not the major places. I was referring to the small roads w/o buses passing through them, like Jln Rama and University Rd. If you can remember all of them, you can be a taxi driver liao.
