243G & 243W will merge to become 243 & the route details keep scrolling in a loop cycle so can't tell G or W route will be withdrawn.

It was supposed to cover 243G from interchange first and then amend to loop at Pioneer MRT and back to Boon Lay Int via 243W route, which means they planned to skip Jurong West St 62 likely. -

I think they intend to introduce 241 to cover St 62 as well. But since 243 is eft untouched, amending 241 to St 62 isn't necessary as 257 can bring people to and fro Pioneer Station. -

what i can see here is the purpose of the future 241 is to bring ppl from pioneer MRT to st 62 & st 61 IF 243 was to be amended -

Boon Lay Int, Jurong West St 64, St 75, St 82, St 81, Ave 5, Pioneer Rd North, Jurong West St 63 (Pioneer MRT, Loop), St 61, Ave 4, Pioneer Rd North, Jurong West Ave 5, St 81, St 82, St 75, St 64 and Boon Lay Int.
As for the deleted sector in JW St 62, it could be replaced by the amended 241. As for the deleted sector of 241 in JW St 63, it is served by 179 (and 255, but I wonder whether it will be shortened to Joo Koon Term in the future) so it shouldn't be a problem should 241 amended to ply JW St 62 and 61. -

It looks wierd to serve Ave 4, Pioneer Rd North and Ave 5 on th direction back to Int.It was due to some oppositions and SBST decided not to amend 243 to Pioneer. I agree that 241 could be amended, since there's there's 179 and 255 to coverthe stretch along St 63.

sv11 introduced when sv31 amended to end at TPY
Service 11 already existed when service 31 was looping at Kallang Sports Complex. In 1993, service 31 and service 149 integrated to become the present service 31. -

But then if 257 is going to shortened to Joo Koon Terminal (If the plan for a bus terminal there is still around) and 243 is going to skip the St 62 sector after route amendments there will be no bus services in that sector so it is OK for 241 to amended to ply St 62 and 61 instead of the whole stretch of St 63 in which it is served by 179 also (and 255, but then 255 might be shortened to Joo Koon Term as well).

Honestly, 243 ought to be kept as it is for e sake of neighbourhood linkage although if the amendment goes through, it'll help in the BNL Int.
But thing is, how much can PNR bus stop handle?

SMRT can try to amendment the service 985 to serve Toa Payoh, Ubi, Eunos and Kaki Bukit where there is demand for the service compare to Kallang where there is no more factories and low demand. of cos it will rival SBS 8,59 and 506 but SBS already taking some passenger from SMRT trian service from this 3 services.
SBS can try to amendment the service 11 with the meger of 401 to serve kallang leisure park, east coast park and kallang MRT station during the weekend and weekday service start from friday.
