Add on 67, it travels parallel along DTL 2 from Bt Panjang to Little India. Currently it is oso travelling parallel wif EWL from Kallang to Bedok too. For this, will suggest tat either 67 or 171 would be affected. Remembered the old 182 under tibs was withdrawn due to duplication.700 should be withdrawn and merged with 190 which will be diverted to ply along Petir Rd. Pax can still depend on 960 to get to Marina Ctr from Bt Panjang though.
67 can be covered by 65 between LTI and TAM. Affected pax can take 66 to get to MacPherson, Ubi and BDK Reservoir from LTI. 21 can provide cover between TAM and Kaki Bukit.

Where did you get the info that DTL will be using 4-carriages train? There's still service 170 from Newton station to Bukit Panjang station. I don't think this service will be affected by DTL, because the other 2 operators will be smiling if service 170 no longer terminates at Queen St.
Don't touch 170. That one links SG and JB CBDs.
170 can stay esp if MRT pai

Also not forgetting that Queen Street Terminal shall be closed due to the plan for a centralised bus terminal for coaches.

if it closes, SJE n CW2 will have to go as well
so i believe Queen St Ter will stay
If Queen Street is to close, then extend and let it terminate at Marina Centre. That way, it give access for passengers to Suntec Area and City Hall area.
Extension route will be as the following:
Bukit Timah Rd (Little India Station)
Ophir Road (opp Rochor Centre)
North Bridge Road
(Parkview Square)
(Opp Parco Bugis)
(Opp Bras Basah Complex)
Bras Basah Road
(Raffles Hotel)
Temasek Boulevard
Os Suntec Convention Centre
Temasek Ave
Opp Millenia Tower
then it will terminate there lor..
Back to Larkin Terminal
Raffles Ave
Bef Temasek Ave
Seating Gallery
The Esplanade
Victoria Street
Allison Hotel
Opp Bugis Junction
Then follow the original route from Rochor Rd

You should see the current situation at Marina Centre now, unless the terminal moves to the carpark behind the Pit Building..
What if Marina Centre terminal close as well? Where will the service go?

shenton way?
Either become loop service. If suggesting these services to terminate at Shenton Way, then they should ply Marina Centre area for the return direction since that was the place where the original demand was, just like 961 serving there twice.
106 could be made a loop service to increase its demand. It will not just be a service bringing people to suntec, it will also bring people back from suntec. Probably this wasn't initiated because of 111 existence. Making 106 loop at Suntec isn't considered very long for the total journey anyway. I am making a comparison to 502 and 857.
The designer for suntec probably didn't consider the traffic flow at suntec during high seasons. 2 lanes, and the cars queued long long.. Can't expect too many services to serve suntec unless someone knows how to regular the traffic flow.

Future Bus Interchange / Terminal to be built at International Cruise terminal.

This Terminal will be close down as well.
The current terminal being built under Marina Coastal Expressway C481 is to replace the existing one under South Quay Viaduct that is affected by the expressway work.

106 return route should follow that of 864. This one plied Suntec in both directions. Currently, the bus stop opposite where 106 stops only has 36.

nope.... I have an idea....
perhaps the feeder buses in boon lay bus interchange should be ammended to reduce jams and at the same time, benefit the residents/people....
243 - ammended to skip JW st 61, ave 4... and cut short the route to loop at JW st 81/ave 5
179 - cover up the loss part of 243... and at the same time, shortened the route... save time.. :)
241 - since it's meant to serve the residents from st 91... after it has arrived at pioneer mrt, it can turn up and cover up the loss section of 243.... at the same time, reliefing 179 at peak hour.... :)
242 - ammended to cover part of 243G.. loop at JW st 75/ave 5.. save time for the residents living at the westgroveprimaryschool area.... :)
181 - ammended to cover up the loss part of the 242 route.... at the same time, shortened the route for people living in the westwoodsecondaryschool area..... save time... :)
and if the ammendment goes on....people living in the 242 and 243 "loop" area will be affected in some ways(like example: if one wants to go to the heavyvehicleparkingarea [shengsongsite] from JW st 81)...
so, maybe a new service can be implemented to cover up the loss...moving in 2 directions.....perhaps replacing 243's role as a doube-direction bus service..... :).... and in some way or another, save time.. :)
do look at the picture attached to get a better understanding on my suggestion.... :)
maybe this can solve most of the bus problems in Jurong West....
by the way, the green line in the picture are the inter-town buses in Jurong... 185 and 99..
**ps.... forgotten to say what the pink line means... it is the 241 route.... just in case you are wondering...

179 is meant to serve NTU, similar to Sv 96

agreed. imagine affected 243 residents trying to board 179's out of NTU that are already fully packed...

oh ya hor..... have not thought of that..... then in that case... perhaps increasing 257 and 193's frequency will help to solve the problem if 243 is amended...... both 257 and 193 are meant for the industrial area..... but nowadays, most of the workers take their company's private buses to work.... even those who used to take 193/257 to work now take the MRT straight to Joo Koon.... and if they still need to take bus, they would take 257 from the mrt station(jookoon mrt) to their workplace... at a shorter time.... so.... maybe now 257 and 193 is more utilised by the residents than by the workers... hence, maybe by increasing the frequency of 257 and 193......it might well be the solution to solve the problem that could be left behind by 243,if it ever gets amended....
thing is, 193's kaki can still walk to SDC to take e bus
257 serves TNB tat side, and its demand is early in e morning
