best not to, at your own risk.
It's best not to take pics outside depots because majority of the buses are off svcs anyway...lol

Eh, how does standing outside a bus depot constitute to trespassing?

can. just dont get caught.
there might be a chance that u will be kena questioned by police. if u camp at a bus interchange outside for too long+holding camera to snap pics, the police car would come in bus interchange for about 45 mins from the time u came.
one example which oftenly "invaded" by police is Boon Lay Temp Int.

Think you are confusing trespassing with the Protected Areas and Protected Places Act.
Trespassing is putting your foot into the permises without authority. You can snap outside in public, they can intimidate you or call the police or whatsoever, but it's legal so long it isn't a Protected Area/Place.
Protected Areas/Places prevents you from photographing the permises or its background. Usually they are labelled as such properly (e.g. gun pointing at a stick figure or no unauthorised personnel). This list I last heard is sekrit, can change, runs into hundreds of pages, and MRT depots are included on the list (not sure for buses though).
P.S. - IANAL. Use common sense. These days things are not as strict as the Bush era, unless some recent events indicate otherwise.

Seems like 466R is AMDEP TRG instead of HGDEP TRG...

There was an article on TNP a few months back regarding photography of shops/public places. Places in question were National library, esplanade/art museum, and the shophouses in Chinatown. The article portrayed that the locals are bias to foreigners snapping and are somewhat against the locals. Its like they let foreigners snap whatever they want but question and caution locals.. what double standards..

For Lau Pa Sat would likely due to trade secrets. Can't ask why; some companies would prefer to protect interests even if it does seem lucrative to us...
Best is not to include any of those 'sensitive' structures in your picture. In that way no one would accuse you of spying on the structure or similar. For National Library etc I expect that shooting in the open areas is still okay, but within the building its much in the grey area; do and don't get caught kind. Normally shooting photos of structures, which are not sensitive, in groups would be more acceptable...
